MKD Astir-Pak™ C1S with PE Coating
Astir-Pak™ C1S with PE is a high-yield board with custom barrier coating. The PE coating is available from 0.5-1.0 mil thickness in either a gloss or matte finish. One-sided and two-sided PE coating are available. When choosing a PE coated product it is vital that the lamination and treatment process is adjusted to the specific board quality. Astir-Pak™ C1S has been carefully studied for this process. Astir-Pak™ C1S neutral whiteness will blend in while your product packaging stands out.
Astir-Pak™ C1S with PE was originally created in response to the many printers who have relied on our Astir-Pak™ C1S board. It is the result of a 
long collaboration with our clients and our mills. Astir-Pak™ C1S with PE is now widely used for takeout boxes, branded packaged food, and food trays. Our ability to combine a higher yield grade, smoother surface, high stiffness, excellent folding properties, all with the ability to preserve your client’s perishable products.
